The short version: QuellCast collects no data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Everything the app does happens on your device.
QuellCast is made by GR Digital Media LLC. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Nothing. QuellCast has no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We never receive your listening history, your subscriptions, your searches, or anything else about you.
Audio transcription runs entirely on your iPhone using an on-device speech model. Your audio is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of this data.
Like any podcast player, QuellCast talks directly to third parties for content:
"Episode ready" notifications are generated locally on your device. No push-notification service is involved.
QuellCast offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited episode cleaning (the app includes a free allowance). The purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system under Apple's privacy policy. QuellCast never sees your payment details, and no personal information reaches us. The count of episodes cleaned under the free allowance is stored only on your device.
QuellCast collects no data from anyone, including children. Note that podcast content itself comes from third-party publishers; the profanity filter reduces, but cannot guarantee removal of, mature language.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date. Given the app's design — no data collection by default — meaningful changes are unlikely.
